Fear of Christianity

The country of Indonesia holds the most Muslims than any other nation in the world.  There is a growing fear in Indonesia that the youth are turning towards Christianity and moving away from Islam.  In the video I have attached, you can see that this is made for the movement to get the youth of Indonesia back to Islam.  Please watch.

The growing fear is not so much a victory for Christianity since the Christianity they are distributing is that of a Charismatic nature.  As the video alludes to, they are targeting the youth of Indonesia and using media and music as the means to reach emotions of these youths in order to change their ideology of religion.  This is the normal practice of the Charismatics.  Charismatics are making a dent in third world nations and this is mainly due to praying on their ignorance and manipulation of their cultural beliefs.

I do feel that the fear by the Muslim community in Indonesia, being such a saturated demographic of Muslims, show there is hope for the true Gospel to reach these people.  There are many other videos that refute the numbers shown on the video I attached but it still shows that there are pockets of opportunity there in Indonesia.

Please pray that the truth of the Gospel reaches these people and rescues them from a belief system that will render them helpless in the day of Judgment.  Pray that burdens are placed in the hearts of those who serve and are willing to serve reach out to these people.

  1. ʿĪsā ibn Maryām; English: Jesus, son of Mary), or Jesus in the New Testament, is considered to be a Messenger of God and al-Masih (the Messiah) in Islam :30 who was sent to guide the Children of Israel (banī isrā’īl) with a new scripture, al-Injīl (the Gospel). The belief that Jesus is a prophet is required in Islam.
